Kayaking Reserva Nacional de Investigación Estuarina Bahía de Jobos - This is a national estuary reserve (one of 25 in the United States) and is right near the house. Kayaking is available in the estuary and in the mangroves but you'll need to find a kayak - I'll do some research on where you might be able to rent one - I don't know of any place that rents them right now. Car Racing Salinas Race Track - you may not have come all the way to Puerto Rico to see car racing but this can be pretty exciting for a Friday or Saturday night. It is a straight track and they race small cars with RX7 Wankel rotary engines - and they go down the track light lightning and the sound of the high-performance Wankels is unforgettable. There is also motorcycle racing as well. Very near the house. Just take the driveway out to Carr. 706 & turn left (south). Go straight down Carr. 706 3 mi to Rt. 3 (the old road) and turn right at flashing light. Follow Rt. 3 for about 5 miles and it is on the right hand side about a mile before the town of Salinas (it should be obvious - it has a big corrugated metal fence around it and a control tower).
